What is it?
“A time during the year we gather together as families and
communities to remember that even though there are things we may
not have, we should never forget all the wonderful things we already
have. We celebrate this time with lots of wonderful and delicious
food. Do you know some of the foods we eat during Thanksgiving?
Turkey, apple pie, etc
Why is it celebrated?
“Thanksgiving, from the very first time it was celebrated, is a time
where we take time to remember everything that we should be
thankful for.“
What are you thankful for?
Parents/teachers/friends/strangers, etc
