STIS provides morning and afternoon bus transportation that serves students of all grade levels in most areas within Shenyang. For more information, please visit the transportation page. The transportation fee is not included in the tuition fee.

Students attend school Monday through Friday from 8:20am to 4:00pm.

STIS is a licensed International School with an American curriculum managed by a team of experienced professionals from America and China. STIS offers rich and challenging educational programs for 1st to 12th grade. The STIS High School offers many different AP classes, including Chinese Language and Culture, English Language and Composition, Calculus AB, AP Economics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, and Biology as well as offering the SAT to students quarterly. Instruction is provided by professional educators and qualified professionals from around the world.

Applications can be submitted to an STIS Admissions officer or emailed to admissions@stis.co. Applications are reviewed by the school and after all required documents are received, an Admissions officer will help the student/family through the remainder of the process. Due to the high academic demands of the instructional program, the school administration considers both a reasonable level of educational aptitude and a reasonable proficiency in English as a prerequisite for a successful admissions application. The school administration will employ the admissions tests and a possible interview in order to make the decision. Families/students who apply and complete the admissions tests will hear back from an Admissions officer within 2 to 3 business days.
